Roles can help you secure information in the database by restricting access by other schedulers to certain features in Snap Schedule 365. They can also help you enforce access policies by preventing certain commands and actions from being taken. By creating different roles and selectively assigning them to application users, you can implement virtually any access control scheme. When a role is no longer needed, you can permanently remove it.
From the Admin tab, click Scheduler Roles. Then, click .
Enter a unique description to identify the role.
Optionally, you can enter any free-form notes about the role.
Select or clear the check boxes located under Privileges to set the features that schedulers assigned to the role will have access to.
Click Save.
From the Admin tab, click Scheduler Roles.
Double-click the role that you want to modify, or click .
If you desire, you can change the unique description identifying the role.
If you desire, you can add/change/remove the notes that are included with the role.
If you desire, you can select or clear the check boxes located under Privileges to set the features that users assigned to the role will have access to. To allow access to a feature, select the check box for that feature. To deny access, clear the check box.
Click Save.
From the Admin tab, click Scheduler Roles.
Click on the role that you would like to remove. Then, click .
Because this is an irreversible process, Snap Schedule 365 will ask you to confirm the action. Click Yes to proceed with the deletion, or click No to cancel the deletion.
